Thanks Graustus. Currently my IRA is just flapping in the market wind. Just haven't had the time.
So far 2023 sucks. Found out I was not going to be a grandpa again, when there was no heartbeat at
ten weeks.
My mother, 92, who always said she would not move in here, but would rather go to a nursing home,
realizes she is slipping, and no longer likes to live alone. Been here ten days now.
As long as she knows my name, I can handle it.
My sister, 71, off the cliff. Assisted living as soon as her son can get it done. Appt. Thursday.
She called me Thurs. night from her sons to tell me that she was going home for a couple days, and
then she was going to a place she was never leaving. My dog enjoyed our long walk while I cried.
The more I talk to my nephew about what the costs will be, the more I think about giving more
money away before it is too late.

"Pennsylvania has a 5-year Medicaid Look-Back Period that immediately precedes one's date of
Nursing Home Medicaid or Medicaid Waiver application. During this period, Medicaid checks to
ensure no assets were gifted or sold under fair market value.
Thinking a spinning head should not make any rash decisions, market or otherwise.
Missed these two, and sitting on a whopping $33 in cash.
