SDSU is only down 12. That being said, UConn typically heats up in the second half. Note how SDSU decided to shoot threes to start, hoping to soften up UConn's defense. The averages caught up with them. As the broadcasters said, SDSU is a half-court team. To win, SDSU needs stops and sure baskets in the paint, rather than steals and transition scores or deep threes. That's tough given UConn's defense, their transition game, and their three point prowess.
