Wow. That is a LOT….for one family, let alone one person!! So sorry to hear about all of it. My parents are going through that, where they want to give us our inheritance now while we can use it….just in case they need a facility in the next 10 years or so. Several of us are medical, so I am hoping it doesn’t happen. Sorry to make it about me….thoughts and prayers with you and your family.

Many have called the recover off of October ‘22 low the end of the bear market, but it could be a bear market rally…..small caps and value had been doing well, until Q1 ‘23, when the mega cap/tech stocks (not mutually exclusive) had a HUGE run. And I think this was at the expense of our dollar bin, high alpha stocks.

I also transitioned from an income portfolio (heavy high yielding securities, preferreds, and dividend stocks) to a low yield, dividend growth portfolio but also 20% t-bills over the last 6 months or so. Wish I had listened to your trades and done it when you did (20-22)….but I think we are both positioned for good portfolio value growth whenever the bullshit stabilizes and the Fed stops raising.

Thanks for keeping up with the blog and the screens. It’s appreciated by many I think. Hang in there, Steve!!
