OK, no prob, Holly said she saw it and will report at some point in the future...
the concept: Stanford, Cal Tech's mortal foe, is playing whoever, (Cal Tech has no part in the festivities, they just happen to be in Pasadena) and the Stanford glee club (like 1000 kids) whip up different 3x3' cards that all fit together and cover an area of about 9000 sq. ft. then flip them over and around and so forth (color, national television, very Big Deal) that say...uh, nuh... "Stanford bites"..."we blow chunks"..."Cal Tech Rules"...with pictures, and it kept going because they didn't know their "instructions" had been...uh...fixed up. you get the idea, an incredibly complex prank.
Another time these same dudes crept into the stadium, which is a gigantic landmark in Pasadena, (well secured the cops thought) and dug a big hole at the center of the field, then planted a massive pyrotechnic surprise. didn't go off.
There are dozens of these stories. Young NASA minds at work.
