AAPL did go below 161, but it didn't stay there. My statement was conditional and remains valid. IF AAPL stays below 161, it will likely go to 147. We'll probably know the answer this week. A lot of it has to do with the flow of funds. Getting tax refunds has a pronounced impact on on the flow of funds. I suspect that sell in May and go away will prove to be the case this year. But I won't fight the tape. If I see a sustained strength, I will switch from short to long.
