On Record is not a real weather statistic, it was made up by dumazz wacko Global warming idiots to make weather hotter than it has been. The real number is RECORD HIGH OR LOW and is getting hard to find. ON RECORD is a calculated average over a set time period like 20 years. An average high or low over the period is calculated and temperatures in real time are compared to the "ON RECORD" average. For example the city I live near RECORD high is 104 degrees F in 1936. The 1930s did have the most RECORD highs followed by a double top in the 1950s and have been falling ever since.

When you see a weather that is "ON RECORD" that is false data.
