Thanks, Josh...........that was very interesting.

We met the dog today...............he's a speckled blue heeler, and he was a nice boy. He didn't come off as being aggressive at all, so I think it's going to work out.

One thing I've noticed about this breed is they're very focused and intense about what ever is in front of them. His owners brought some cheese treats for him, and he couldn't be torn away from the possibility to get a snack unless someone was willing to throw a ball. They brought one of those too, and he was in seventh heaven.

We'd planned on replacing the carpet in the rental in a couple yrs, so knowing he'll shed somewhat isn't a big deal, so this should work out well.
