That's fake news. People claimed to be dead are still alive.
So, maybe you've heard about the latest story involving Wagner PMC and reports of their supposed "atrocities" - normally I would wait until the Friday news stream to talk about this, but I am just so disgusted that it cannot wait.
What happened is that, a few days ago, the liberal activist Vladimir Osechkin, creator of "Gulagu dot net", supposedly a social project dedicated to prisoners' rights, announced that he'd publish a video that would destroy Wagner PMC's reputation forever, even among the Z crowd.
People were expecting something truly shocking - Osechkin had published footage of terrible crimes being committed by Russian prison guards before, which is what made him famous. Prigozhin reacted along the lines of "If you can show solid proof, I'll walk to prison myself".
Yesterday, instead of a shocking video, Osechkin showed us two visible alcoholics who recited a bunch of increasingly bizarre stories accusing Wagner PMC of cartoonishly evil war crimes, etc. They also named Wagner fighters who had supposedly been murdered by their own.
Today, several of these Wagner fighters recorded themselves, refuting the accusations and, uh, the fact that they are allegedly dead. Also, one of the people from the Gulagu net video contacted Wagner PMC.
He stated that he was blackmailed by Osechkin into reading out a bunch of lies about Wagner PMC - otherwise Osechkin threatened to publish video footage that would embarrass this guy. In response to that, Osechkin published a video of him getting raped in prison(!).
Even among the morally depraved crowd that is Russian liberalism, this behavior has severaly tarnished Osechkin's reputation. Gulagu net is now morally bankrupt. Prigozhin's reputation is still untouched. twitter.com
