Before they fined and sanctioned him the committee argued Ivermectin had no effect on Covid.
The committee is basing its arguments on the FDA's official stated position:

Why You Should Not Use Ivermectin to Treat or Prevent COVID-19 | FDA

That has legal weight.

"But but my friend in the Q Continuum said otherwise" won't hold up in a court of law.
No one bothered arguing the vaccines had no effect on Covid.
That's both inaccurate AND irrelevant to this particular disciplinary hearing. Weak whataboutisms is a terrible defense.
