Steve, The story above appears to be a variation on an actual event. The actress Isadora Duncan (not sure) wrote a letter to the playwright Eugene O'Neil(sure about this one) describing the wonders of their pontential union, "The child would have my beauty and your intelligence". Eugene O'Neil responded " Ah, madame but what if the child had my looks and your intelligence, what a disaster."
