I'm not a fan of Micron but would the Asian memory chip makers want to continue to produce at a loss? Or do you liken the situation to OPEC where there are verbal statements to adhere to a certain production level then many players go out and cheat? I think you've already stated the latter. I'm not sure what incentive they would have to continue excess production while losing money. Fear of loss of market share? Or perhaps their finances are more murky than many American companies where they can operate at a loss for a while because of jobs or national pride. Um, maybe I'm answering my own question. Did notice that the retail price of DRAM has dropped a little in the past week.

Have fun on your trip to Asia.
