I finished the last season of Better Call Saul last night, and it was quite a ride. They had a lot of fun with this season, jumping back and forth in time and place even more than usual, and engaging in all sorts of cinematic tricks like going into black and white at times. My brain was constantly trying to figure out what movie was being referenced when an image appeared or a scene unfolded, but rarely did. Perhaps the best thing about the final season was that there were fewer gangsters on screen, gangsters generally being the least interesting characters in this and many other movies and TV series.

I am almost always let down by series finales, but this one was pretty good. I should also mention that I have only watched the first half or so of Breaking Bad sporadically back when it first came out, so I undoubtedly missed some nuances, but I still enjoyed it anyway.
