Pursuit Directors Adopt Shareholder Rights Plan

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 1998--International Pursui(TSE:IPJ. - news; OTC Bulletin Board:IPUCF - news) International Pursuit Corporation (''Pursuit'') announced that its Board of Directors today approved a shareholder rights plan, subject to regulatory and shareholder approval.

A Shareholders' meeting is being called for March 18, 1998 to approve the plan. Pursuit is a Canadian public company whose shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the symbol ''IPJ''. The company is actively exploring for gold and copper deposits in the Philippines, Indonesia, Mongolia and Nevada.
