PPros are the cheapest highend pentium chip you can buy.

Intel knows they can make that a moot point. The average computer user will look for the best buy. If the next generation 200mhz chip is cheaper than the Pentium 200mhz chip, they will buy the next generation. This is how INTC reduced the market value of the 486. Would you buy a 486 75 Mhz if you could get a penium 75 mhz for 10 dollars less.

And todays pentiums use 72 pin simms as well, I don't understand your point.
