They know where to go to find the equipment, supplies and gear they'll need... twitter.com Definitely worth spending a little time digging all through his thread if you're rural. Comm's are the key if your network is spread out... Ham Radio, and networked comm's along with warning & mutual aid response systems are a must if your "friends" are miles away. Lots of good lessons on how they stay networked and how they monitor spread out rural areas for "intruders" on that thread. Think of establishing a county wide network. SOTB
