I do not know much about the technology but atci is backed by some impressive funds inc. Heartland and Dawson Samburg in addition to Ciba Vision. Playing these stocks is a large gamble and most would prefer to stay on the sidelines until approval occurs. These stocks commonly rise briefly after an approval and then settle down until a final FDA approval which can vary from 3-6 months. By the way, trading is now halted pending news.
