| Good evening everyone, let me introduce myself, my name is Edo, I'm a deep value investor (cigar butt and net net mainly or ben graham/schllos ecc.. style ), while reading a value blog that I follow I saw the books recommended by this gentleman, among which there was Ted warren's book, since I recognize the fact that I have never given too much weight to charts (being mainly concentrated on company financial statements in particular assets), I wanted to try to give more depth to one side of investing where I have little knowledge, by reading I found the book (about 200 pages read) interesting and I found points in common with ted without having a conscience such as buying on large and long drops (perhaps due to the fact that the companies that may interest me are right in the periods of maximum pessimism for these companies), I tried to find information about this investor and although at first sight his strategy makes sense even if it belongs to the opposite side of investments, I didn't find much about it, except I ran into this forum, now you have some information to give me such as any track records, how you decide to screen etc... I thank you in advance and since I really like having as much information as possible to improve myself, I would like to learn more about this type of investment. |
