As Steve Bannon said, Barr is an old Bush apparatchik. He had a duty to be forthcoming about the veracity of the laptop and failed. Why not be forthcoming about the evidence pointing to the veracity of the laptop and let Americans make up their own minds about whether the laptop is real or a product of Russian disinformation. He did not and, more than likely, altered the outcome of the 2020 election. A profile in self-interest and cowardice.
