To All,

Now that ANCR has traded well above $8, at least on an intraday basis, I think it is time to propose a return to a sincere discussion of the potential valuation of this company. The skeptics who thought ANCR was worth 0, apparently were wrong, at least for now. Those of us that never thought ANCR would dip below 12, or 10, or 8, or 6, or 5, or 4, were also wrong. As is commonly the case, the true value of ANCR seems to be somewhere in the middle.

The question going forward is how much will ANCR be worth? Are there actually OEM contracts out there, and what type of revenue can we expect from them, should they be signed? Will Brocade get all the OEMs? Will the Fibre Channel market expand as quickly as some of us expect? In other words, what is the true value of ANCR in the Fibre Channel marketplace?

I would like to stay away from hype on both sides, and just have a reasoned, if speculative discussion. Any takers?

Craig
