Hi WEagle, Thanks, we have done the trip for years now. It is now two days of 11 hour drives. We pack the day before. Get up early and feed the five cats and wait for their daily constitution. Then we hit the road and keep the wheels rolling. We pack some fruit and a premade sandwich. The only stopping is far gas. The 80 mph roads have helped cut short the drive time. It's boring but always fun to go see old friends. Even our cats get used to it. Stay out of the heat and buy the dips. They only signal a nice reversal is soon to happen. Bob
