You can also tuck your chin against your chest just before swallowing to close the air pipe. My mother had dysphagia which may have been brought on or exacerbated by removal of teeth. Hopefully, you have someone to prepare your food as preparation and feeding take a lot of time. Serving meals often took up to 4 hours. The Italian ice has to be served cold.
