Hi David, Aqua 1 is doing well, but I don't know if sales figures will be available in the press release. That would be in year-end reports and such. If you're going to base your buying on sales to date, I don't know if you'd be missing a move based on announcements of new contracts/distributors or not. I guess you and I have a different perspective on this company. If it were a $3 stock, I might be waiting for sales figures, too. But this is a penny stock; its price is not driven by sales figures. Once the sales figures are what drives the price, it will already be a stock priced at least 4-5 times what it's going for now. The main thing now are contracts, distribution, and product development. And in fact, many stocks I own or follow go up even though they are over $3 or even $5, based on expectations. Those can be short-term moves, which solidify into long-term when they are then validated by earnings or other news (contracts, or research developments, etc.). Then, those who didn't buy at the lower price, which is no longer available, are buying at that much higher price, and then they have to wait for the next move usually before the price moves again. Or they go searching again for other companies which haven't risen yet. For those of us who are long-term investors, it's the accumulation of news and progress which causes the stock price to move upward over time that's important.
To tell you the truth, I think we're incredibly lucky with this stock. Unlike so many other penny stocks, I know (and I think you know) that this company is exactly what it says it is. And, moving forward to become much more. I haven't been able to find another penny stock with as much potential and as likely to make good as this one. And I've looked at a lot of companies.
I'm not trying to convince you to buy. If the stock goes up and down and up..., I don't want to be to blame! We all expect any stock to do that. And I empathize with your desire for a press release; I want one too. Although everything is on target (pun not intended!), they decided not to put out a press release at this time. I understand their reticience, given their conservative nature in these matters. Any press release would most likely be about one more distributor or chain added to the network, not the sales figures you're looking for. I expect that such a press release will move the stock up significantly. Just as a person could have bought the stock a little over a month ago for around 20c, and now 40c, after the release they might be looking at 60c or 80c. Still a good buy, imho, because they will continue to enter more markets and put more products on the shelves, while getting the word out to more potential investors about the company. But again, for short-term buyers, its more risky, as it is with any company, even IBM.
