If the election was held today, Biden would win reelection easily. It is not very hard to figure out why. The unemployment rate is at a record low of 3.4% and average hourly earnings are increasing at their strongest pace in decades. To be sure, that increase has not kept up with inflation until recently. The recession so far has been contained mostly to stock market assets, which hardly affects the working class. Income inequality has come down quite a bit too.

Wall Street, of course, hates Joe Biden. That is understandable as tax hikes would mostly be subjected to the wealthy while stimulus would be directed to the working class.

I find it humourous that conservatives find Joe Biden deranged and senile. In fact, Biden is quite sharp and knows exactly what he is doing.

It may be a recession for the wealthy, but for the working class, times are good.
