"'Deficits don't matter.' - Dick Cheney Not so far; what if he turns out to be right?" "Then you Democrats will be proven to be utter hypocrites," Why? Dems aren't saying deficits don't matter. Everybody on both sides, with the exception of Cheney and a few MMT proponents, would be wrong. I don't know how long it will take to confirm or refute his theory; another 30 years? I think we do know enuf to say, "Republican deficits don't matter to Republicans", or "only Democrat deficits matter to R's" tho, since R's always increase it, and only complain when D's are in charge.
