Let's see how the economy is doing in the 6 months lead up to the election. That's really the key.
If the economy is "just fine" today, then why wait until 6 months before the election? Just reassure the public that everything is going according to plan.

The truth is that things were never going according to plan. Brandon himself is on record claiming that inflation was temporary. The Feds had the same view, only to end up late to the game.

Now Brandon and the Democrats are stuck HOPING that things will get better. They don't even have a plan except to try and transform the economy into an onshored green factory.
