Appeals are automatic for the rich...especially Trump
Point to me the law that says any verdict is automatically appealed if the defendant is worth more than a certain amount.

Until then, there is no appeal as of yet, and Trump is legally obligated to pay Carroll.

Besides, I don't think Carroll is in it for the money. $5M is pocket change.
