Been a Chicago boy my whole life and had someone of 44 Chicago years refer to that term with me for the first time - just last week - had no idea what that meant until told. Recent-day Chicago folk like to refer to those of suburbia in area-code terminology. It does the job. Wonder what Ms. Maria would think about this hole thing.
