Well, Larry, I think your "unforseen circumstance" is just another company line. You get to be the next Ruthless Monopolist who will inevitably Rule the Planet, and I'll take it all back, then you might face the same scrutiny Microsoft is facing now. I'll go back to an old line of mine, antitrust applies only to monopolists, unfair though that may seem. The laws are on the books, there's well established channels for getting them changed, or for getting a Charles "Rick" Rule- style de facto moratorium in place again.

You'll have to confer with others of your ilk about the inevitability of Microsoft's dominance, and the viability of the competition. All I know is that I take the threat seriously. And given the integrity and uniformity of my personal Windows95 experience, I can't see it as such a good thing.
