Barrick and the like are part of the problem; doubt about that.

Actual central bank sales have not been that high - in fact compared to a few of the previous years, they have been significantly less. I will agree that it is the _fear of central bank sales that has had the effect. The fact they have not really sold that much is (IMHO) quite bullish).

When I made the remark about manipulation, I was referring to the DOW as much as gold itself - it is all part of the same process.

Go to: gold-eagle.com

then go to editorials and look for the one "Blatant and Obscene Manipulation of the Stock Market" .... that may give you something to think about. IMHO too much to be coincidental.
