Recent shows: The second season of PBS "My Grandparents War" is as good as the first. You have to be interested in WW2 and what happened to common people back then to appreciate the stories. The hosts may be famous actors, but their ancestors were ordinary people caught up inn a crazy time. APV's latest "Kathleen Madigan: Hunting for Bigfoot" is a fun hour of standup. She has been great for a long time. We plan to go back and check out her earlier specials. Finished the latest seasons of "Sister Boniface" and "Dalgliesh" with a thumbs up. Both hit their mark accurately, even though they are very different kinds of shows. We are up into season 23 or 24 of Silent Witness, so I put the original Morse in the queue unless we find another long-running mystery series that we haven't actually seen. We are still in the first half of "Taggart" but for other shows, we have either seen it or didn't choose to pursue them, shows like "Vera" that just don't work for us.
