The Iomaniacs here at SI tend to view Iomega as "it should be." An aggressively growing, dynamic company with a flashy CEO who wows the Street with Q after Q of stellar earnings amassed by selling leading edge technology at competitive prices. At Yahoo, they know that in real life, Iomega sells clinically proven defective devices that utilize ancient technology and sell them at exorbitant prices. They also realize the very grave situation that Iomega finds itself in in its relationship with The Street, and how the CEO is viewed by the big boys with wads of cash. They know what IOM really is. Dogmeat.
