Wharfie, Yeah; it's politically better for the R's to complain about the border than it is to fix it. I argue that it's politically better for the Democrats to do just that.
As long as the Republicans can be cast as racist, nationalist xenophobes who lock up children in cages, and as long as the rest of Americans can be silenced and unable to even challenge "sanctuary" cities and "sanctuary" states, the Democrats have a vested interest in doing nothing to resolve the border crisis.
Even you are defending the problems at the border by immediately bringing up the R's.
We need a lot more immigration courts. That requires more spending. I'm pretty sure you'd rather complain than spend that money, and the R's want to spend less so that they can complain more. Again, the lack of leadership here is being blamed on me and the R's. Anyone who complains about the problem is automatically assumed to be against finding solutions, according to you.
Typical dodge.
She can't appropriate money, she can't create courts, she can't run a court herself, and she can't overturn laws which permit asylum seekers to enter countries, but yeah, dump it all on her. OTH, if Fox isn't talking about caravans of migrants in Sept and Oct of '24, does she get the credit? Amazing how little power Brenda has, huh?
It's not like she has no experience in the Senate. It's not even like she has no experience giving Obama-like speeches, or calling members of Congress to work on a deal, or even citing anything you said like appropriating money and creating courts just to demonstrate BASIC knowledge of the problem, right?
Poor poor Brenda, stuck in a no-win situation without any power to do anything but laugh, giggle, and pretend she's talking to a bunch of toddlers.
But that makes ME the "racist" one, right?
