Hello Haim, I trust you are now recovered?
I am still affected, not down, not out, not recovered, and not going around town.
My symptom, now about Day #9 or 10, is 'just' occasional cough. No headaches, fever, ....
My daily routine is just work at my desk, now (i) in process to start a new meat trading business with contacts in Republic of China, People's Republic of China, Philippines, N America, southern Africa, and Latin America, and (ii) preparing an old business for either sale, or growth by demonstration of its financial attributes modelling, while listening to podcasts and VLOGs, and movies and TV shows.
Speaking of movies and TV shows, I also watch the coconut working at her summer tasks in the gazebo outside my study (i) script coverage for a tier 1 movie production company, (ii) tutoring high school students in English composition and math, and (iii) preparing for additional internship tests.
The Jack is still attending school.
I am glad that I snatched a few shared meals w/ the Coconut when I did before Covid got me. Yes, I can ignore my Covid and go around town but I do not.
On the subject of Covid, I am no longer agnostic. I believe ...
(i) it is highly infectious (I got infected by a masked passenger who must have known she was ill, wearing warm clothing on a hot day)
(ii) can be deadly to certain segment of society who should protect themselves even if by isolation during whatever the infectious season
(iii) near harmless to the rest except causing inconvenience of light flu, and
(iv) vaccines does cause badness in some segment of society
On the issue of Ukraine, I remain agnostic but do note a few points, that ...
(i) am flabbergasted that so many around me by physics expressed the thought, "omg, the people in that region so hate each other" - iow, a surprise to most
(ii) am not surprised that the folks in physical proximity hold no animosity toward the Russians and Ukrainians, for trade happens with both and China remains Ukraine's largest trading partner in non-military stuff, and whatever is happening is not great for normal trading activities
(iii) many do see that the Ukrainians are wittingly or otherwise acting as seeming proxy against the Russians for USA, and unless USA / Nato go boots-on-the-ground, bad news for Ukrainians, for the Russians mean exactly as announced, that Ukraine shall be neutralised
Re Iran, I do agree that Iran does not need nuclear bombs (they do not do any good) but cannot assess the local perceived threats by the Iranians ...
