" look at what Occupy Dumbocrats are telling parents to buy for their kids' summer reading lists."

What's wrong with that? It's not school, and it's parental discretion. You don't like a book on the list, don't get it.

"The ONLY thing limiting elementary school kids from reading 50 Shades is the actual reading level of the book"

That applies to lots of books. Nonetheless, parents should be free to decide whether their children can read those books during summer vacation.

"Occupy Dumbocrats intend for ALL kids to read those books, including elementary school kids."
I'm pretty sure they understand that many parents will NEVER buy those books, even if their kids are over the age of 30.

"any adult that recommends 50 Shades for eighth graders is a borderline sexual predator, in my book. Let me know if you disagree."

I disagree. Maybe we can agree that any adult who tells an 8th Grader, "We're gonna play 50 Shades" (or, dating myself, "Lolita" or "Lady Chatterley's Lover") is a pedophile.
