Yes, I have a chip on my shoulder.
I don't like to be insulted, accused of something that I did not do, and be blamed for someone else's mistakes. DO YOU???
Mo, it's like this: You need to lighten up and let Paul's words, whatever they were, true, false or whatever, just roll off like water rolls off a duck. To continue the water analogy, you are letting it saturate you, and believe me, the damage is to you, not to Paul.
The fact that you are letting it get to you so much shows your own lack of maturity. I haven't even read the exchanges between you and Paul, and I'm not taking sides, but I can assure you that you are doing more damage to the opinion which people have of you than Paul ever did. If you feel that you've been 'dissed, respond ONCE, then DROP IT, unless it falls into the "slander" category, in which case if you are going to pursue it at all, then do so through established legal channels.
They are only one person's words, they just are not important enough (except in very extreme cases, which this is not) to let them do this to you. |
