RE: Generative AI

Lots of development is being done 'at the edge' for generative AI. This is due to the increasing power and efficiency of mobile processors, the increasing availability of 5G networks, and the development of new generative AI models that are specifically designed for mobile devices.

I am thinking more of this generative AI will move away from the centralized datacenter and to the 'edge' w/ much of the computing done in the mobile devise. The potential applications of generative AI at the edge are vast. As the technology continues to develop, we can expect to see even more innovative and groundbreaking applications emerge.

These models are often smaller and more efficient than traditional generative AI models, which makes them more suitable for running on mobile devices.

It will be interesting to see how this develops. I see it similar to the development of the PC in the 80's and even the internet in the late 90's.
