Finally realized it has to be the strong outgassing from the newly-replaced decking made of AZEK because the bread crumbs are still there after 9 days.

I imagine this'll be a problem for quite a while yet.

Kind of a shame, I used to enjoy seeing them stop down on my deck for a quick bite or two.
