By Ted's rules, the buy signal would come at the end of any month where the month's close was above the trend line and the price went above the trend line by a rise in the price and not because the trend line simply dropped below a month-to-month mostly steady price that was just moving sideways. After all, a descending trend line will eventually pass through any price action given enough time. Same thing applies to the price breaking above the upper trend line of a triangle to give a buy signal.

Have I2 and I ever violated this buy rule. We have. But that is the Ted rule.
