Mq, that's perspicacious. But won't men being dumped from their pair-bonded partnerships and abandoned to their lonely nihilistic lives be a major disincentive to them to continue the vast works of success that have created the modern world?

Won't they all start fighting and killing for pre-eminence and to get back into the mating mosh-pit maul?

For millennia, spare young men have been drafted into armies to march to the horizon and kill or be killed in genocidal conflict against foreign Devils to expand the empire or defend against oncoming marauders. They cause chaos if looking for meaning in their home town, with nothing to sustain themselves and no where to go and no hope.
