Dream of reparations hits political reality in California (msn.com)

I'm still wondering why people who never owned slaves have to pay people who never were slaves in a state where slavery was never legal.

Here's a very funny quote from the article:
A new poll out this week found that just 39 percent of California's likely voters support the idea of a reparations task force, a political reality that Bradford — who sits on the panel — and his allies in the Legislature must overcome.
Funny how liberals are all about democracy and respecting the will of the people UNLESS it goes against their agenda. Then the will of the people becomes a "political reality" that must be "overcome."
