Hi Tweets,

Been hot 85 and nineties the last week.

No rain in the last 3 weeks. Watering garden and fruit orchard daily.

Garden was in over long holiday.

Cleaned up my school property. Two 150 year old silver Maples dropped their whirlybird seeds.

I used MY STIHL BACKPACK BLOWER AND FILLED A 45 GALLON COMMERCIAL GARBAGE BAG FULL.

Then use Milky Spores to drop on my grass trying to kill the Japanese beetle eggs. They ate my cherry tree leaves all last July.

Getting all the odd jobs done so I can begin the removal of all plaster in the lower floor of our home. Time for a kitchen redo, removal of two load bearing walls and open up the entire floor. Windows, doors, siding. flooring and prepare to add on a room for a sunny kitchen eating area, some pantry and storage, plus a big room for dining room fireplace bar and study.

In all a two year project including new roof profile and meatl roofing.

We've been saving for it to begin for 4 years and my wife (who doesnot know the mess she's getting into can nnot wait to start.

I've been down that road and know the dirt and inconvenience.

That being said the house was built in 1967 and is in need of almost all restoration needs.

It is built into a hill and has very little sunshine so I'm insisting on the added sunny room. If we sell our home in Houston, I've got to have sunshine in the winter here in Wisconsin.

The houses hot water pipes in the floor and I want to add water solar heating panels on the new roof. Perfect southern exposure on the new roof profile.

Plan to build onto the basement and add room for heat exchangers and geo thermal pump. I have an artesian well with good flow going into the river and hope to use water (which is 52 degrees year round as the heat in winter and cool in summer.

Big job but need to get started.

We have the money there from a commercial lot we sold last year. Had it for 26 years and acted like it didn't exist, so the windfall will get used to give us an off the grid home for our later years.

Been busy and need rain!

Bob

PS Cohu teasing at 40 - that will help too!
