The lead guy for this case at the State's Attorney's office is one of the few remaining leftovers from the original New Haven police investigation. Obviously, yes, if this case is solved, there will be lots of finger pointing. I truly wish I could say someone in that office wants it solved. But how do you explain not availing yourself of modern DNA technology, even when third parties have pledged to pay for it?! It's truly astounding... here nearly 25 years later!
