"Pride flags everywhere,"
Pride's not a religion, and neither is Mexico or Ukraine or other countries I see from time to time. The cross is the symbol of a religion, and it can be seen as the state promoting one religion over the others.

"Christian crosses only in the privacy of your own home or place of worship"
You can put one in your front yard, as long as you don't light it on fire. If you owned a storefront, you could paint one on your window. You can put one on your car.

This could end up being reversed by the Supreme Court, or it could end up with some law enforcement agencies switching from a 6 pointed stars to badges with 5 points.
