Donald Trump’s DOJ indictment has been unsealed today. The highlights, er lowlights: Trump stole classified nuclear secrets. Trump shared classified military secrets with multiple people, including someone from his fundraising PAC. Trump was caught on tape admitting he hadn’t declassified one of the military documents before leaving office.

These two paragraphs are just stunningly bad for Trump, and all but ensure a conviction at trial:

Also, there are a total of 38 felony counts against Trump in this indictment, not just the seven that were originally reported. Congratulations to Donald Trump for picking up 38 more felony charges, to go along with his 34 felony counts in Manhattan, and more to come. I said that once Trump left office he’d be charged with “hundreds on felonies” and now he’s on track to actually pull it off! You can find the full DOJ indictment text here.

Donald Trump's DOJ indictment has been unsealed, and it's even uglier than we imagined - Palmer Report

People getting all worried because Cannon may be appointed to the Florida case need to relax.

"In addition to Cannon, Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart's name also appeared on the summons sent to Trump on Thursday, the sources said."

The arraignment judge is selected by who is rotated in to do arraignments at the time by the court and may not be the trial judge.

Cannon had both of her decisions thrown out by the Florida supreme court and the DOJ would challenge her appointment if she does not recuse voluntarily.

I think it is unlikely she will be the trial judge.

I think Christie nailed it when he told Fox that Trump's charges in the document case are completely self inflicted.

If Trump had just returned the documents when the national archive requested it is very unlikely he would have been charged.

Instead Trump was angry over losing the election and his failed coup so he wanted to fight Biden's government and decided to hide, lie about and possibly disseminate classified info.

That is a prime example of how a severe narcissistic sociopath behaves and they can never admit defeat and blames everyone else for their failures and will do anything to get revenge.

I have said many times it is Trump's narcissism that will bring him down and it is happening in this case and will result in more indictments going forward.

They couldn't take a crap in this MAL bathroom without leaning against the stacks of boxes of Trump's stolen national secrets.
