I don't use Google maps. I use Waze, a software gps program that I download from Google Play Store. It is very good, much better than the GPS from my car and I travel around quite a bit. I used it from NYC to Henderson, Nevada and use it locally too. It is excellent. I am very dependent upon this program on my journeys.
