To All
Been & still holding BCMD for many months. These are my concerns & hopes.
Concerns 1) Stocks that split often bump up to a price that sits between the after split price and the original. Sometimes going all the way up to the pre split level. I'm concerned that if BCMD uses a reverse split to maintain the price, the stock will fall back below a dollar in a short time in the same way a normal split tends to move up. It'll be a short term answer only. Then where are we?
2) I see only two possible ways to get this stock up. A. Company buy back of 25% or more of the stock. (At the rate money is used for ramp up to production, and the rate the JV provides it, this answer doesn't seem to be in the cards.) B. Actual production numbers with great forward looking projections. I don't see how it can move without one of the above. Good news is swell, but will not, by itself, support a much higher price. In my mind, the only good news that will support the stock & company is one or both of the above.
3) At the moment, I intend to ride BCMD to a conclusion. Major profit or complete loss. Admittidly resigned. If it continues to threaten to go down the toilet drain (now in the bowl) I expect I'll give it to my grandkids as a small graduation gift 15/16 years from now. Maybe it'll contribute to the cost of the gas used to drive them to collage.
Hopes It can still go throuugh the roof. The story on this company is great. All the positives in place when I bought are still there & then some. It's up to mngmnt to show us the gold in terms of value in the stock. I think they can do it. When? Don't know. For me the big question is can they bring it off before they go broke & the value of the stock is in the sewer? I think so, I hope so, but I don't know so. Never the less I've come to be convinced of the following. 1) Gold in very profitable quantities are there. 2) Mngmnt is very good, but timing is off. (I don't blame mngmnt for bad timing, rather I blame all the verities that bedraggle any large complex project. I suspect mngmnt is as concerned as we are) Is mngmnt, as good as it is, up to the task? I think so, I hope so, but I don't know.
I have chosen; !Chosen!; to hold to the hope.
Best of luck to all.

PS The recent conversations have been very good. I'm on the side of those who are holding. But I appreciate the well thought arguments & studies that support the opposite view. I'm learning from both. One thing I've learned is; It's possible for such discussions to be carried out with civility & respect. Appreciate it very much. |
