Sdgla, like I said before, if Trump truly believed that the Presidential Records Act applied, he should have opposed the original request to return the documents.

Or he should have fully complied. Many people, myself included, argued that he wouldn't have been indicted had he done just that.

Either way, he tried to deceive the government. The evidence proves intent.

He could be acquitted of every other charge as far as I know, but I believe he will be found guilty of obstruction.

And given the lengths to which he tried to deceive the government, jail time seems to be warranted. I don't give a Brandon if he IS the leading candidate in the Republican primaries.

No one is above the law. No one.
