scrapps...

ok, good.

now that we're on the same
page, i will say i always respected
your methodology...you make terrific
practical sense. the element i might add
is to find the non-commodity in the most
fertile sector.(i know there are endless debates
in techworld as to the exact nature of a commodity.
i am not talking about obvious ones like hard drives, eg.
but the intellectual property grey areas, where patents
become self-referential,etc...)

the key is to find the original and take home the monopoly money.

there are many that come to mind. ( and some would argue,
with, a vitesse, eg...or wind river. cisco is a controversial one,
and we could go on, way beyond intel. )

so, my thought then, have a closer look at the article, and maybe
you can find the monopoly money. i do know there are some good
plays with established companies, already rich with patents and
ready to collect from digital applications, from hdtv et al. the pieces,
however, have yet to be put together. it is just a matter of choosing
the winners ( ha, just )...sorry if i have rambled, but i would love your
input when you have had some time.

hey dell, huh. nice pick, scrapps. and usrx, of course...

later,
randy
