Thanks for the links to the posts. Since the original post mentioned only battery life, I remembered that it is one of the most common complaints about every iOS upgrade for iPhones. I've had it once or twice in the past myself, but a restart of the iPhone always fixed it. If you go to Settings > Battery > Battery Health & Charging, what does it say is your Maximum Capacity for that iPhone?
