Miraje,
Manzanar was grossly unfair for innocent incarcerated ethnic Japanese Americans in WWII.
None of the interned Japanese-Americans were homeless. None of them were suffering from drug addiction or mental health issues. None of them were shitting in the streets, leaving trash around, harassing passerbys, shoplifting and stealing in order to feed their lifestyles, etc.

Most of all, none of them posed any public safety threat to the community at large.

That's the thing with letting the homeless take over our streets, our parks, and our public spaces. They simply don't belong there.

"But where would we go?"

That's why I propose setting up homeless camps in designated areas away from any population centers. Said camps will have maintained showers, bathrooms, garbage collection, addiction and mental health services, job placement centers, etc.

Of course, my idea was immediately compared to Manzanar because, you know, the woke can't tell the difference ...
